Christmas is Coming!

Fantasy Composite Photography

OK so we're done with Halloween and Bonfire night already. Must be time to start thinking about Christmas then? Yes!!!

Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year. It lends itself perfectly to my style of photography which is whimsical and magic. This year I am running a limited number of Christmas mini sessions. These photoshoots last 30 minutes and are focussed on creating something really special for you to cherish during this festive time of year. I started these sessions 3 years ago when I took this image of my daughter and my niece.

I used this picture on my family Christmas cards that year and everyone LOVED it. My Grandma actually keeps the card on her mantelpiece all year round because she loves it so much. Three years later and its still talked about and cooed over every year.

I think the reason that this image is so popular is because its pure magic and innocence. We all want to create amazing memories for our children at Christmas time and we want to remember their excitement at waiting for Santa to arrive. I know that I will continue to love this image forever and I want my clients to experience this as well. After all, kids grow up so quickly its really important for me to capture these moments while they're still here.

Over the last few years my style of editing has evolved but it has always retained that magical feel. Click here to view some of these images on my main website. I now offer a range of Christmas images and have rolled these up into a great value offering which is only available for a limited amount of time.

Below I have listed some FAQ to help you decide whether these sessions are right for you this Christmas.

Christmas Mini Sessions

How much is a Christmas Mini Session and what does this include?
A Christmas mini session at Tiny Stars Photography costs £65. This includes 3 hi-resolution Christmas digitals and 3 corresponding professional 5”x7” gift prints. Sessions last 30 minutes. The best* 3 images from the session will be chosen by the photographer and transformed into your magical Christmas images. Examples of images you can choose from are as follows:

*Please note the Santa holding snow globe image contains a fairy fantasy image within the globe which is not available in a mini session. If you love this Christmas image I am happy to use a photograph taken within your mini session within the globe. It will still look fabulous!*

How do I pay?
Payment is required in full prior to your session in order to secure your session slot. Please note, your time/date is not confirmed until you we have received full payment and you have received a confirmation email.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, please contact Karen by clicking here for BACS details. Please put your name as reference on the payment.

What Shall I Wear?
This is entirely at your discretion however I have found that the following work really well:
Christmas pyjamas
Christmas jumpers
Red/Green or festive colours schemes.
If there are more than one person in the same shot try to coordinate their outfits.
Avoid neon colours, large logos or clothes which are too ‘busy’. Simple styles work best.

Where is the studio?
The Tiny Stars Studio is located at;
19 Longfield Drive
Bessacarr
Doncaster
DN4 7HG

How long can I expect my images to take?
Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive your digital files. I always endeavour to provide these as soon as possible as I know you will be excited to receive them however there is a huge amount of work required in composite photographs and I want to ensure you get the best possible quality of work. Prints will be forwarded on to your home address as they are received from the lab.

What information do you need from me?
I love to find out a bit of information about your family and who is being photographed. This makes the session more fun and relaxed and tailors it that little bit more to your child's needs. As a minimum I required the names and ages of all those who are being photographed.

Arrival Time
Please ensure that you arrive at the time specified in your booking confirmation. To avoid children getting bored waiting, I advise that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your time slot. As sessions are often booked back to back at this time of year, should you arrive late, your session may need to be cut short to avoid impacting on other clients.

*The most appropriate images to be composited will be chosen by the photographer and will be dependent on a number of factors including facial expressions, quality of image and ability to composite the image realistically amongst other things. Due to the nature of the session, re-edits are not permitted.

Final Word - Don't miss out!

Please be aware that due to editing time and lab cut off times prior to Christmas these sessions are only available for a limited amount of time in November and early December. These images will be completely unique to you and your family and you're going to love them. Capture the Christmas magic while they're still young, you wont regret it.
